For many, many weeks now, Barbara and I have been talking about our life in our new Scandia-built kitchen. We are so happy with the final product that you professionally designed, built, and installed. This kitchen is truly beyond our initial plans and dreams.
Without question, our decision to do business with you was one of the best we made in this complicated process.
We were very new customers and had never taken on a remodeling or a new addtion plan before. From the outset, your advice, patience and overall expertise were superior. Your suggestions regarding cabinet spacing, appliance location, and the central island were perfect. Moving around our new Scandia Kitchen is a joy. In our 21-feet by 16-feet space, you provided us with the best possible dimensions for locating everything.
Our decision to contract with you for the island top was also the best choice possible. With the soft-close hardware and the cabinet construction, everything works perfectly and will for years to come.
Another one of the highlights is clearly the granite countertop and the workmanship of John Aldrich in their construction and installation. John is a true master of his craft, and we appreciate his art and talent.
In closing, we are so pleased we decided to contract with Scandia Kitchen Design for our beautiful new kitchen. We are extremely happy customers and thank you both from the bottom of our hearts.

Just want to thank you again for the splendid job that Scandia did in reviving our 24-year-old kitchen.
When we thought about a kitchen make-over, we perused many a magazine and website. Scanida's show-room was a major draw for us. Seeing the many kitchens on display, the well-made cabinetry, the choices in sinks, faucets, countertops, the cabinet pulls - - made our thoughts go wild on the different options open to us. You can also see that your product line is high grade quality - - all top-shelf.
Another deciding factor for us selecting Scandia is the "years of experience". Plus you are a family business. For the duration of our project, we got lots of personal attention from you and your family - - that means a lot to us - - we much prefer dealing with a family business over a big institutional company.
In retrospect, we firmly believe our decision was a great one. We're very pleased with all aspects of the job, from pre-planning,, to site surveys and design; and especially with the coordination around installation. You helped schedule so our down time was minimal. That was terrific!!! As for quality and craftsmanship - - we cannot say enough about the cabinet installer and granite guy. They're both masters at their trade.
Overall, Scandia outperformed our expectations. We will not hesitate to contract with you again for any other household projects that we consider in the future.
A special thanks to you for your suggestions "to gain more cabinet space". And, in general, for making our new kitchen happen!!! Our kitchen is beautiful. We enjoy it every day!!!

As a builder of high end residential spec homes, I look for vendors that will provide me with high quality products, at competitive prices. Scandia has repeatedly met both of these requirements. I have been dealing with David Dorrer Sr., for a number of years he has always been very fair, responsive and a pleasure to deal with. David always takes ample time to go through the house plans and then walk through my jobs, making suggestions that improve the aesthetics and functionality of the room we are putting cabinets in. Scandia has always delivered on time and the quality and workmanship of their product has always met, or exceeded my expectations.
